A voter turnout of 6.61 per cent was recorded in Maharashtra until 9 am as polling is underway on all 288 meeting seats within the state. Voting throughout 288 meeting seats in Maharashtra started at 7 am and can proceed until 6 pm on Wednesday. The counting of votes and outcomes shall be declared on November 23.Â
Gadchiroli district within the state witnessed the best voter turnout. Osmanabad, however, has recorded the bottom voter turnout at 4.85 per cent, as per the Election Fee of India information.Â
In Mumbai suburban, 10.59 per cent voter turnout was recorded in Bhandup and 10.71 per cent in Mulund. Whereas Colaba reported 5.35 per cent turnout, 3.78 per cent voter turnout was reported in Worli.

In the meantime, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule appealed to voters to return out in giant numbers and solid their vote.
