Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fired Minister of Protection Yoav Gallant. Netanyahu stated, “Within the midst of a conflict, greater than ever, full belief is required between the prime minister and minister of protection. Sadly, though within the first months of the conflict there was such belief and there was very productive work, in latest months that belief between the minister of protection and myself has been damaged.”
He continued, “Vital variations have emerged between Gallant and myself within the administration of the conflict, and these variations have been accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted the choices of the federal government and the choices of the cupboard. I made many makes an attempt to bridge these gaps, however they stored getting wider. In addition they got here to the general public’s consideration in an unacceptable method, and worse than that, they got here to the eye of the enemy – our enemies took pleasure on this and derived a number of profit from it.

Netanyahu has changed Gallant with Israel Katz, who at present serves as Minister of Overseas Affairs, the place he shall be changed by Gideon Sa’ar.
